Team Philosophy
Swimming is a fun sport, but also a great way to
keep active during the summer months. Swimming
is both a team sport and an individual sport. Being
on a swim team offers invaluable experience in
working together as a team, but also provides the
opportunity for individual development.

Fees
Basic Fees:
Payment is due before the first meet
- $70 for one swimmer
- $115 for two swimmers
- $150 for three or more swimmers
- $20 for each swimmer to cover trophies, social events, etc.
- $25 work fee (put into escrow)
- $20 fee for swimmers who are not Cardinal Hill Pool members (does not apply for first year swimmers)

Parental Involvement
Swimming is a sport that requires a great deal of parental support. It simply cannot be done without it. At least
one parent or other family member is expected to work at every home meet, at least one away meet and at the
championship meet. A $25 work fee will be collected at registration and put into escrow. If the work obligation
is not met and the parent does not provide a suitable substitute, the $25 fee will be used to pay someone to
work the meet. If all work obligations are met during the season, the fee will be returned at the end of the
season. The Swim Team's job coordinator will work with you to accommodate your schedule to the extent
possible.
In addition, families will be asked to provide food or beverage for the home meets to support the concession
sales. This will usually be something like soda, water, chips, baked goods, fruit, etc. Proceeds from the
concessions go directly back to the team.
